Maria brings to client projects 20+ years of experience in all aspects of marketing, strategy, research, and insights across many industries and sectors. Maria’s passion is to uncover insights that drive learning and create opportunities for clients to reach their goals. With a bias toward action and the ability to deeply engage in complex projects, Maria brings curiosity, passion and urgency to the work.
Maria has worked full time and as an expert consultant for numerous startups and established companies across sectors such as finance, tech, healthcare and education, both in the United States and around the world. Combining strong qualitative and quantitative skills with a deep understanding of marketing and strategy enables Maria to develop and execute complex research and insights projects.
Specific expertise includes:
- Qualitative research: Traditional and online focus group discussion guides, moderation and analysis; environmental and competitive landscape scans; and internal/external interviews.
- Quantitative research: Survey design, coding and analysis; internal data analysis; polls; and third-party data analysis.
- Strategic, marketing, and product insights: Collaboration with stakeholders to analyze business situations and identify unique opportunities for differentiated success, competitive analysis, product positioning, marketing plans and SWOT analysis.
Maria graduated from Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business with a dual degree in Marketing and Information Systems and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma business school honor society.
When not happily engrossed in data, Maria enjoys watching baking and British TV shows, completing word puzzles, and reading a good book, and also volunteers extensively for youth and community grassroots organizations.
